Samuel and Marcy Laws lead Brave Church and Brave Christian Schools with a deep love for the Bay Area…and a house full of five kids. Samuel serves as the Lead Pastor, providing vision and teaching across our campuses in San Francisco, San Ramon, and Dublin. A fourth-generation pastor who grew up in Northern California, he’s passionate about making faith real and relevant, especially for people navigating life in one of the most innovative and fast-paced regions in the world.

Marcy is our Central Kids Pastor, overseeing kids ministry across all Brave campuses. She’s known for building strong teams, creating environments where kids thrive, and caring deeply about the families in our church. Her passion for raising up the next generation, and supporting the parents who are doing it, is one of the things that makes Brave such a vibrant place for families.

Together, Samuel and Marcy are raising four daughters and one baby boy—Mia, Julianna, Elia, Bianca, and Leonardo - learning (in real time) how to lead with purpose, parent with grace, and stay present in a fast-moving world.
