How are we getting there?
We are taking a bus to and from Santa Cruz. We will have two vehicles for extra transportation at camp.
What is the sleeping arrangement?
We will be staying in cabin rooms, with a capacity of 20 campers per room. Each room has bedding and mattresses; sleeping bags and pillows are required. Rooms will be preassigned, and grouped by biological gender with age, grade, and school kept in mind.
What if there is an emergency?
In case of emergency, a staff or team member will reach out to you based on your emergency contact information. If you need to add someone to that call list, please email daniel@brave.church.
If you need to contact your student, please call Daniel Kopti [925-998-9330] or call Camp Santa Cruz Front Desk and they will connect with us. While we anticipate no injuries to occur, we will be prepared:
First-aid kits will be carried with staff throughout the duration of camp; Santa Cruz also has onsite first aid equipment. The closest hospital is Dominican Hospital, about 15 minutes from where we are staying.
Should I bring extra cash?
Yes! Bring 50$ for lunch on the drive up and down. It is also recommended to bring cash for the extra snacks available for purchase at the boardwalk.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were included in the overall cost of camp, with exception of lunch on the drive up and drive down. If you noted any allergies or food restrictions, this has been shared with us and accommodations will be made.

There are various activities for us to enjoy from the Multipurpose room with basketball, foosball, air hockey, 9 square, firepits, and we will also have games to play late night.
Sporting Equipment (free): Volleyballs, Basketballs, etc.
When will students have their phones?
Students will not have their phones throughout the duration of the camp aside from at the Boardwalk as well as 20 minutes before each night session if needed to get in contact with parents. In case of an emergency, we have all parent’s information and will be in direct contact in case.
How does medication drop-off work?
At drop off please bring your student’s medication in a plastic bag with their name on it with their medicine please! Students will have access to their medicine 24/7 with our on-site camp administrator.
