SUMMER CAMP is HERE!
We’re spending a week together, making memories that will last a lifetime, and encountering God in new and powerful ways. But what exactly does that look like? Well, that’s what we are here to tell you! Keep scrolling to find out more about what we have planned.
Why Summer Camp matters
Summer Camp is one of the most meaningful weeks of the year for our students. They will build real friendships, step away from everyday distractions, worship with their peers, hear messages designed for their stage of life, and be cared for by trusted BRV YTH leaders. Our hope is that every student comes home with deeper faith, stronger community, and memories they will carry for years.
Testimonials From Parents
“My student came home more connected to God and to their youth group.”
“Camp helped my student make friends before the school year started.”
“I felt confident knowing the leaders communicated clearly and cared for my student.”

Are students allowed to come and go during the camp?
No, once students are checked in for the camp, we ask that they remain there so we can monitor all students. Students are allowed to leave in an emergency authorized by a parent/guardian. There will be supervision and security at the campgrounds.
What is the sleeping arrangement?
We will be staying in cabins with a capacity of 40 campers per room. Sleeping bags and pillows are required. Rooms will be preassigned and grouped by biological gender, with age and grade taken into account.
What if there is an emergency?
In case of an emergency, a staff member or team member will contact you using your emergency contact information. If you need to add someone to that call list, please email daniel@brave.church.
If you need to contact your student, please call Pastor Daniel Kopti [925-998-9330]. While we anticipate no injuries to occur, we will be prepared:
Staff will carry first-aid kits throughout the camp; Brave Church also has first-aid equipment on site and a medically certified physician. The closest hospital is Adventist Health Hospital Sonora, about 15 minutes from where we are staying.
Should I bring extra cash?
Yes! Bring 50$ for lunch on the way up and for activities. It is also recommended to bring cash for the extra snacks available for purchase at the camp’s snack shack
What is the plan for meals?
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were included in the overall cost of the camp, except for the round-trip to and from the camp. If you noted any allergies or food restrictions, we have been informed, and accommodations will be made, and students will have fantastic meals
